Real or not? Isn’t it so easy??
Someone shared the video on youtube. What’s the intention, we do not need to speculate.
However, it really takes no rocket scientist to investigate whether the person appearing in the video is as per accused. Simple example as below:-
So, just take some of the frame from the video. If the police have the full length clip, for sure they can find better quality images for further investigation. Why not do it?
Measure the body features. We do not need the exact length, just need to know the ratio. Example the numbers that I put is the pixel that shown to me while I draw the lines. What you need is just a piece of simple graphic editing software.
Calculate the ratio, and compare the set of results with the numbers measured from the person being accused. With enough sampling, how hard is it to determine whether this is him or just someone else?
This is just an example of simple way. If accuracy of the measurement is the concern, just perform a more advanced method. Since the police knows where the place is, just do a site visit to measure the room size and all. Build a 3D model. Measure the figures in 3D. With some simple physics and mathematics we can have the right numbers to determine who the person was.
UNLESS OUR COPS ALL FAILED EXAMS.
Racist Problem? Or Racist Politic Problem?
Just to share some real experience.
Observe the picture below. Taken somewhere in Kajang town.
Why is it so interesting? Let me explain to you why.
1. The background, was actually a Chinese temple.
2. Beside the temple, there were 2 food stall. The stall that you see here was selling rojak, operated by Indian Muslim. Another stall , selling Cha Siew (roasted pork) Wantan (pork dumpling) mee is just at the right hand side but is not in the picture.
3. The rojak stall having no space for their tables. Hence they place their table inside the compound of the temple behind them.
4. People sitting there just in front of the Chinese temple, eating rojak. The people consist of Indian, Malay and Chinese, how great it can be.
5. Another side, the mee stall, run by a Chinese girl and an Indian girl. Both of them like some kind of relative, or at least very close friends. The Indian girl speak perfect Mandarin.
That’s so great we are such a mixture of culture and religion, but we do not mind to live close to each other.
However what we always been reminded by the government through school education, medias and anything you can think of, is we are having racist problem and we need to put effort to unite the people. Are we?
Or the people running the government is just intending to emphasize our differences then they can take benefit from racist politics? Not to say the new slogan ‘1Malaysia’, we have been living as 1 single Malaysia, united and peaceful for so many years. Do we still need that? Or that is just remind us that we are different, we should have different agenda for our own race? No, we should always think and live the principle where, benefit should be shared among all Malaysian fairly. Full stop. No need racist politic here.
Google Earth, Sarawak Forest.
Read this and if you do not feel annoyed, up to you.
http://news.mongabay.com/2011/0328-sarawak_google_earth.html
This report revealed how bad had the forest within Sarawak boundary been destroyed compared to our neighboring countries like Brunei and Kalimantan. Are we Malaysian not nature loving at all? Why are we allowing such thing happen in our country? You really don’t care?
You can just download the Google Earth software and observe, then judge it yourself.
Photos below are courtesy of Google Earth. Comparing Kalimantan, why the forest in Sarawak is way fairer? How many years it needs to take to recover?
Who’s Right is the Land?
See this picture. What do you think?
Were you ever asking this question:- who the heck is the guy who put the rubbish bin and block the small piece of land in front of his house, which could be a precious parking lot in a highly populated residential area? Yes, that’s in front of his house, but that piece of land is never belongs to him. Why can the person just feel he has the right to block the place?
More examples of selfish people like this…
How can you not feeling angry to see this after circling a few rounds looking for just a slot for your car?
Peace of Mind Year
This is the first blog for the year 2011.
Have not update the blog for a quarter. The last post I’ve written was on September 25, 2010.
Anyway, this is new year. Why look back at the past?
What is for the new year? What’s that for this year?
Simple enough yet far from achieving – Being debt free and always have peace of mind.
Not quite sure how to achieve such a target. People said it is too general and is not a SMART goal. That’s why it is bound to fail.
However it have to be some general idea at first then should we plan the strategies in detail.
Will have to stuff the debt free and peace of mind goal from time to time.
For now, is time to sleep because having enough rest will assure a better work day and at the end of the day, achieve better performance.
Have a great year ahead. Happy 2011.
