Phishing Online – Don’t Reply.
I did have a few post earlier with the intention to remind fellow friends not to believe in Phishing Emails requesting you to login to any internet banking facility. If you interested to read more, click here, and here.
Same as this one. I had just saw this email in my mailbox.
Even though it “look like Hotmail, write like Hotmail, but I am certain that it is not from Hotmail”. Why say so? For security reason, all the internet services won’t seek for users to send their information, especially those sensitive one like username, password, DOB and so on over un-encrypted channel, of course not a simply email. If they were to do so, they won’t attach a link to ask you login via the link also. They will need to request you to key in the very original service URL, for this example, you should be asked to visit http://www.hotmail.com/ and login to your account, then from there VERIFY your account. Please never never reply to such email. Maybe you can consider reporting the fraud to hotmail and get confirmation from them, if you feel uncomfortable leave it alone. However as what I said earlier, in terms of security, it worth redundant work. Please let your friends know also to beware about it.

Just Have Fun…
Not sure who holds the original copyright of this joke, but is is fun… and the Internet is meant for sharing funs.
“The CIA, The FBI, and the MACC are all trying to prove that they are the best at apprehending criminals.
The US President decides to give them a test. He releases a rabbit into a forest and each of them has to catch it.
First the CIA goes in. They place animal informants throughout the forest. They question all plant and mineral witnesses. After three months of extensive investigations they conclude that rabbits do not exist.
Next the FBI goes in. After two weeks with no luck they burn the forest, killing everything in it, including the rabbit, and they make no apologies. The rabbit had it coming.
Finally the MACC goes in. They come out two hours later with a badly beaten wild boar.
The wild boar is yelling: "Okay! Okay! I’m a rabbit! I’m a rabbit!"”
I guess CIA and FBI is well know. But I am not sure what MACC stands for. Therefore I go on to search the Internet, and most of the results are in relation to “Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission”. So the joke might most likely referring to this or something else. You have the conclusion, not me. Otherwise I maybe sued for just joking.
Ethics in Social Networking or Blogging
It is HOT.. that many people have an account or two on social networks, and also 1 or 2 blog sites on the Internet. We enjoy sharing information, and get to know things about others. I have strong believe that this world consist of more good guys than bad guys. It should complies to 20/80 rules. Therefore it is ok to have yourself (I mean your personal updates) on the line visible to people, just with some caution.
Why I say so? When we talk about social networking or blogging, we tend to expose our information and thought. Without knowing, you might be in risk of disastrous consequences for writing some recent updates on your social network pages or blog posts. Just as this one:
What the poor lady did is just classic. You might not have the thought to offence anyone when you post your opinion but SHIT do happen.
In short, be positive and share positive information with your friends; not bull shitting about negative stuffs.

Squirrel Has Never Been So Famous…
Due to a very nice timing, and with the Internet, this squirrel becomes more and more famous these days… even though it may never notice this. This is called the power of VIRAL, and now I am taking advantage of it and viral-ling it as well.
According to the story, the picture was taken during the couple’s holidays. The camera was on a tripod and timed and just so happen that this cute stuff came into the shot just nice the camera shuttle triggered, and if you notice, the camera auto-focus had been adjusted to be focus on the squirrel rather than the people at it’s back. The original photo appeared on National Geographic’s website August 7 and then went viral. Now you can find the squirrel cut and pasted on a lot of other photos by fellow photoshop fans. Just to give you an example:
You could just make your own Crasher Squirrel and share among your friends, only your imagination is the limit. If you have one please don’t mind to share with me.
