Security for Internet Banking… Avoid being Cheated by Phishing Emails.
I did have another posting about the similar issue and was mean to remind the fellow friends do not ever believe in emails asking you to login to your Internet banking account by following any links (which is available here). This is kind of repetition but I do believe that security is worth to be reminded even multiple times.
So what all the Internet banking services I have ever used, emphasized to the users that they do not, in any circumstances email or phone the users to provide to them user name and password. Also, they will not request your to login to the Internet banking services by any links embedded in emails. You are encouraged to only login to the account with the official URL by keying it to the address bar of your browser.
So for next time if you have seen any email requesting you to login, to activate, to re-validate your account or what ever, the one and only response is to ignore it. Even better, please report to the bank to keep a record and for the bank to perform any further action if needed. Please do remind your friends who is new to internet banking to take note as well.

General Expression of the Cycle of Market Emotion
In general, ordinary people react to market condition with the emotion like below without fail:
And this is how the smart players make their fortune out of the market. Smart players understand the market sentiment and what to do is make use of it to attract hot money that have the feel to earn fast money and when they come, quickly pour some cold water to cool the market down and chase away the dumb followers, leaving profit with them. Of course, this is just general expression, and general explanation. The market is much more complex and hard to master because there are millions of dumb followers, and many smart players as well.
The rule of thumb is, still, when you see the auntie in wet market start to talk about stock, it means market has more or less reach the tip and smart players is preparing to cool the market down. Therefore, your reaction should be, start to release what ever you have in hand and realize the profit. Wait for the next round of accumulation.

A[H1N1] Infection Case Covered or Not Covered??
This is not intended to be the formal channel of information for knowing your insurance policy coverage. You need to refer to your professional insurance adviser or the insurance provider to validate your policy coverage. I am posting this just to bring some awareness to the public that you really need to care about that, before it is too late.
In general, insurance is the undertaking of your risk in the case you hit any event that is covered by the policy. In this very period where more and more H1N1 infection cases reported, and hiking rate of death from the disease, we should make ourselves prepared for any un-expects.
However, due to market requirement and for the sake of grabbing market share, companies may treat the case as covered under certain condition. The risk is high now that H1N1 could hit anybody, therefore insurance company have to take care of their own risk underwriting as well. The company would not simply undertake any risk because the impact is huge for any wrong decision made during this kind of potential disastrous situation.
For example (just for information and the information is valid as of today, it could be changing from time to time), one of the company do circulate the information that their medical plan do claimable for hospitalization due to H1N1 up to end of December 2009. After the period, the same medical plan that has been purchased before March 2006 is remained claimable, but not for those that purchased after. The same company, for newly enforced policies, it is only claimable after 1 month waiting period from the day of enforcement.
The statement above is just for reference and again, please do not feel hesitate to contact your agent or the company for clarification. Ask them to produce official write ups spell what is the case that being covered and what is not. Normally the agent will tell you only good news but not any bad ones.
Wish you never need to claim the insurance anyway.
