Shocked…
This morning I got shocked with the news of Thailand.
I got even more shocked and puzzled, why Sin Chew Jit Poh need to spend 6 full page to publish the photos taken from Bangkok. A messy, bloody Bangkok. Is the situation that bad?
When I turn to read Oriental Daily, the head line still about demonstration in Thailand. However, there are some photos just for illustration. The reports are more wordy and trying to explain the whole chronological event and what people had said about the incident.
Maybe you are not reader of local Chinese Newspapers. Anyway I just want to share with you mine feeling reading these 2 different publication.
You know, immediately I feel that is Sin Chew been instructed to ‘educate’ Malaysian how bad is situation in Bangkok? The purpose is to warn Malaysian so that we are scared of demonstrating our disagreement on government policies? I do not know. What I know is, our BN government had done enough to disturb the mainstream media on what they report. We can’t rely on information on the government-linked or political-party-linked media anymore.
Photo Wanted..
Opinion wanted.
Background of the story, I got subscribe to some photo agent that help people look for photos to suit certain purpose. This is the recent requirement:
I have some but not sure whether can meet the requirements or not.
* Just have fun. Wish not to receive any email from MCMC later.

Give and Take
You have visited 15Malaysia? If not, I want to recommend you to watch this one.
Of course, the rest of the short films are good too. But this is just so special not because it is the art of late Yasmin Ahmad, I find it so special because I learn to see it more in depth, after listening to Tian Chua in the sharing event of 1 Malaysia,15 Films.
At the end of the story, the most important lesson learnt is, why not we give in a bit if our friends come short of something, no matter what race they are? Of course, when things go too extreme, it become unacceptable. But if it is just a matter of 5 cent, why not just tolerant?

1000 Council-Owned Vehicles??
Every year, when the time comes to nearly end of August, we would start to question whether it is true that flying national flag named Jalur Gemilang shows that we are patriotic? Logically speaking there should be no direct connection between the action of flying flags and the attitude of loving the country. However, our leaders still in very high extends, believe that “flying the flags would help boost the people’s morale and love for the country, thus inspiring them to work harder and contribute more to the nation.”. Please refer to the original reports on The Star, CLICK HERE.

However, what is intended to be highlighted and discussed here is not about flying flags. The question is, Ipoh city council alone owns about 1,000 vehicles, and it is about 780 of them are “officials’ cars”. How many officer is working under the city council and how many cars are they really needed to run the operation? Of course I am not sure whether this number is logical for a city size like Ipoh. From Wikipedia Ipoh have 1.1 million of population and if we do some simple math it is around 1:1500 official car to people ratio. Could anyone that able to explain what is the purpose of the cars that been purchased with people’s hard earned money? We don’t have revealed information for the rest of the city in the country. But earlier on, I have another post that showed police force, for just one community police station, having more than 15 patrol cars. Click here. Questions: 1. Are we over consuming? 2. The forecast did mentioned that the budget for the next year will still be high in deficit. Is that a time to review and understand whether the government is currently overspending?

What the Hell He Said???
How come what he said is contradict now and then when been asked by the lawyers? If you really follow the coverage there are too much to be suspected. It’s very fishy here.
And again, we as people want to know the truth no matter who’s who. The name of the person is not important, which party he represent is not important, we are concerning the progress of the case as a human that love and concern.
