Win on Paper, Lost the Reality?

By high court ruling, Zamry stand still.

However, is that means BN win the war?

It might be yes, might be no. In general, more that we hear is voice of objection.

We are not against high court decision. Indeed, it do make sense. It is based on principle of majority.

But, what people wants? Let’s have a fair competition all over again. If it is true that Rakyat supports the BN government, why not?

The reality is, BN do not have enough capital to fight with people. What they can do now is to make use of the government engine, that supposed to be fair and independent, to attack fellow pakatan leaders.

Therefore, it’s really a crucial election of the upcoming 13th GE for Malaysia to change – change for a better future. If we were to stay as current, we have no hope of moving forward fast enough to compete with the region, not to mention the whole world.

We can Ban the Book.. but the World is Reading It.

We ban the book written by Barry Wain about some ‘facts’ about ex-PM? So how did it come along with? The book did mention something 100 Billion loses of national treasure, but what the real story is? Isn’t that people’s right to have a look, and if the story is just invention, why not Dr. M come out and clear his name? Why not we sit down and discuss openly to make things clearer?

The whole world might be reading, but we as the group of people that most involved are not able to have a peek. If the information in the book is so wrong, why not let us people find out the truth and tell the world what written in the book is just nonsense.

Anyhow, book can be banned, but information is not. If anybody having a kindle reader, he can just download a electronic copy from Amazon. At the same time, guess what, the book is hot selling in our neighbor Singapore. Guess how many of the purchase are Malaysian.

Can it be a Trap??

At first, he said he can’t stop people from demonstrate for something they don’t agree with.

Opinion came out saying we should stop the demonstration.

Then, some extremist burn something, create damage to some buildings.

Even more unhappy voice against those people.

After that,  he said we should take harsh action towards those elements. Police force also supports that.

What could be the next? The next move will be, for the sake of everybody, we should ban all demonstration.

Then, no matter who, no more assembly and demonstration of any kind. (Full Stop).

Putra Jaya – Park and Ride…

Are you going to Putra Jaya, especially visiting the government head quarters? Do you know that if you were to drive into the area where most of the ministry head quarters located, for example Parcel E, you might not be able to find a place to park? Look at this:

This is how the traffic on the main road (Precint 1) looks like in the Friday afternoon.

The cars parked almost every single corner of the surrounding area within Parcel E Government Complex.

An alternative way to access to the government offices, that exist but not that much people aware of, is called “PARK AND RIDE”. It simply means, you just drive down and park your car in the park and ride terminal, there are buses that could bring you to where you want to go. There are a few park and ride terminals for people traveling to Putra Jaya and Cyberjaya. The problem is there is not a lot of awareness campaign for the public on the facilities.

The website information that I could find about it:

And, according to this news clip, the initiative of building monorail facility to link the Putrajaya township has been halted for 4 years. The relationship here is, the monorail was meant to facilitate patron that drive and park their cars in the terminal, then could take the monorail to visit places in Putrajaya. So, just to share some of my personal experience when I tried to go Alamanda with Nadi Putra (suttle bus service that surrounds Putrajaya). I drove from Cyberjaya to Putrajaya Central, which you could easily find it by just follow “PARK AND RIDE” signage on the highway. I went into the terminal, and easily find a place to park, since not much public that knows and willing to use this facility.

Sign board that is easy for you to identify the right bus to ride.

The problem is, even there are many routes that could bring me to Alamanda, there weren’t any buses there. Then I start to wait. The bus only came after almost half an hour of waiting.

From the same terminal, we can access to ERL, Putrajaya station (if we take ERL from here then can actually end up in KL Central or KLIA) as well as some other buses to Cyberjaya and other towns around Klang Valley. I saw one that go to One Utama.

Alright, the bus finally came. We can not just pay with TouchnGo. It have to be coins of RM 0.50 or their special card which I don’t have. If you don’t have the change, you just end up paying extra. Or you may want to partner with another person that have small change and pay RM 1.00 for 2 person.

Going travelling into Putrajaya township was a great experience. You have the feel as you are in another country. No doubt, it is very highly organized and managed. It is really a huge investment that has been put in to build this township. However, due to aging and bad user attitude (standard la for Malaysian), some of the facilities is having visible damage and flaw.

The bus trip took me half an hour to reach Alamanda because it need to go through the housing area and round the government quarters. I am not sure whether I took the correct route, maybe it is other route that may take shorter time to reach Alamanda.

So instead of driving straight to where you want to go, end up facing difficulties to find a place to park, do consider park and ride. The caveat is you are not in damn rushing mode. Waiting for the bus and “eat wind” in the bus could just take you more than 1 hour from the terminal to where you want to be.
