Today hot news, we are going to have free email service from Malaysian government.
Initial public investment, estimate to be 50 million (subject to increment if more people need to be feed).
Questions are:
1. We have been using free email for years, don’t have to pay a single cent. Do you feel you need to have one email address given by government now?
2. The project is being awarded to a company that is in Bursa GN3 listing. The GN3 listing basically is about the company is financially instable and have to restructure within certain period of time or else will be delisted from Bursa. Should the government award the project to them?
3. Why the government need to invent new wheels? Remember we had previously, during DR M’s era invested in a project so called MyEG? It is basically doing the same thing, like providing government service, e-payment etc. Why need to invest into another company using public fund again, and compete with the existing project?
Anyway, it’s not quite all bad ideas the he proposed. The problem is we really do not trust what miracle he can create out from there other than corruption, mismanage of public fund, over spending and lack of governance.
We could only be less worry if we have a stronger scrutiny from all angle. A stronger opposition power in the cabinet should be able to do the job pretty well.

You feel it is time to change?
Changing the way you live your life?
Changing a partner to another one that love you more?
Changing a job that you have more passion?
Changing the government that you know is corrupted to the root and treat people like a fool?
But you always relook with fear, because you afraid you are changing to a worse situation.
Then you stay put and find excuses to convince yourself that, things can be better, hopefully, later, by itself.
However, if you do not initiate the change today, when do you expect things will be changing tomorrow? If you do not want to have a better tomorrow, then you can stay as it is today. But if you hope for a better tomorrow and do not want to change something today, forever you will be in the mode of HOPE, not REALITY.
A short video clip worth thinking…

Weekend reading. It reminds me about e-filing and payment of tax. I have not done that yet. The deadline is end of April for salaried employees. Well, not that rush, we have another 3 weeks to go.
So, the tag line spells “Be a Smart Tax Payer”. What a good one. Are we smart tax payer? In a way you may be one. There are many ways we can get tax relief and to be honest, I don’t feel we will get audited one day because our tax payable is no big deal anyway. So just be a smart tax payer/cheater and feel free to enjoy all the opportunities to get a tax reduction.
Anyway what I try to tell you is, do be penny smart but pound foolish. Look, paying tax is the duty of every citizen. The money is somehow or rather a ‘reinvestment’ of our hard earn money into our country with the hope to see it develop. Without the re-investments where the hell our government get the money to run the country and develop where necessary?
So be a good citizen and pay tax as required. Be a smart tax payer not by squeezing slight bit of tiny tax relief opportunity. Be a smart tax payer by being a wise voter to elect the right person, right political party to rule the country. Be a smart tax payer by scrutinizing the government on public spending to avoid wastage and mis-management of our hard earn tax contribution.
Remember to pay your tax wisely, at the same time make sure you vote for the correct government as wise.

Logical enough, want to prevent people from died after jumping/thrown down from high building, do not let the person go to high floors.
I really admire the new idea that came from MACC after the death of the Royal Customs officer. We might always think thing toward ultimate complexity but their way of preventing any future event of such, is as simple as set a policy of not to bring anybody under investigation to upper floors. This shows how concern they are about public welfare and safety.
What a smart idea. If nobody is allowed to go more than ground floor, then that’s no risk of anyone jump or thrown from higher floors. Simple logic, simple solution and don’t cost a single cent.
So we should urge the Parliament to enforce this policy for all the law enforcement units like PDRM as well. Or to make it even cleaner, abundant all the current office buildings and get everyone a new ones that do not have a build up more than 2 floors.
What I try to emphasize here still, when we are facing problems, don’t always complicate yourself with complex alternatives. Always, KEEP IT SIMPLE AND SILLY is the best.

So, kinda hot news huh?
While we have heard a lot of bad things about MACC officers from the news coverage about Royal Commission of Inquiry (RCI) for Teoh Beng Hock, now another one who been brought back to MACC for the investigation of the newly discovered billion Ringgit scandal involving many Royal Customs officers.
So the first question people ask is “what? again??”.
Then second, “MACC will tell people that the fella committed suicide???”.
What ever it is, it is too earlier to say anything.
The different of this case compare to previous incident is, for this time it is involving more than 100 billion ringgit. Logically speaking with that amount of money, many would have or going to die. Money do kills, that’s always true. What does matter is WHO?? Our human kind has always been this crazy.
Tomorrow will have for sure, a lot of exciting news. So many interesting thing happening in this country. At least the people have some hot topic to talk about during mamak or tea time session.
